Of course like everyone else I am obsessed with the sweet paper straws, wish I had all the colors, they make...lol..that would be a lot of straws...The straws were purchased on the internet last summer, red and pink.....
The sweet under napkin is white with a ruffly pink ruffle all around the edges...I purchased them last year from TJ Maxx...the placemats I have used before at Easter time..always good when you want a touch of pink on your table...I have not purchased any new placemats in years....
This shot gives you a closer look at the sweetest milk bottles...If you are a follower of mine you have seen these before, usually with breakfast settings, I have six of them and a red carrier..the bottles are from the internet, (ebay) then I stenciled the milk label on the bottle with glass paint...it was such a fun project, they are washable and easy to use...I saw one of the chefs on TV use them, she made Lousiana milk punch..and put them on the Hor D' table...wow they were very successful, I am sure you can find the recipe on the internet...Wish I had one of those right now...
Oh no there is that bird bowl again, I told you it shows up at the darned times...The bird tea pot and cups with lids and napkin rings were purchased last year from Marshals, I think I will use them again this summer in the garden, they will fit in with all the birds...You just know whenever I am setting up something, Tina always has her opinion, and is so interested in what is going on...
She stopped long enough to tell you exactly what she was thinking about the whole thing, she is not happy when there is too much going on and a lot of movement...she would be happy if I just slept all day with her...
She definitely has an opinion, can you tell...
Well, she is finished with the whole thing as you can see, she is off to the bedroom to find a place for a good nap...You can see the ruffly napkin during the set up, cute and unusual....
I have your hot tea ready, I know you would prefer a strawberry Margarita, but it is tea time ...lol....
This was an easy one...The cookies are from the grocery store...and the strawberry is from my faux food collection...so cool, it never melts from just sittin there...lol..I have the real ones I will use after shooting, can't wait...we're having an early special day...
We are going to enjoy our cookies and milk and I hope you enjoyed your visit...

ReplyDeleteHi Phyllis! You know I love it. Love the straws and the darling napkins and everything else. Those cookies - I love those cookies! Little Tina is a hoot! I can see her little attitude! Love you have the little kitty cursor too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day,
Shelia ;)
Your milk and cookies table is too sweet -- so cute! Cats are so funny, aren't they. Yesterday I was in the door showroom, finalizing the order for my new front door and their resident black cat was in the chair I was supposed to sit. She wouldn't move. When I asked her why she wasn't on her "condo tower" they set up for her, she looked at me through half-closed eyes with such a painted expression. LOL
ReplyDeleteI had to sit elsewhere!
So pretty, and I do love that bird bowl! Tea and cookies warm my tummy and my heart. Happy Valentine's Day! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet Valentine's Day post- I love it- xo Diana

I have enjoyed your blog so very much. Your Valentine's Day pretties are so lovely. I think Tina is the final critic...and, I'd be that she liked it, too. Isn't TJ Maxx the best place to find seasonal touches...and at amazing prices. I just found a white tea pot that was missing the lid for $1. After seeing your stenciled "MILK" bottle...You have inspired me to doll up the tea pot in a fun way.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment and visit to my blog. My precious little grandson is one month old today and doing well.
Blessings, my friend,
Carolynn xoxo
Loved my visit. Can't think of a cuter way to serve cookies and milk. Stopping by from Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love all of your Valentine's posts! Everything looks so pretty. I especially love the Valentine's tree. What luck in finding such a great piece! See you soon! Your newest follower, Dawn <3
ReplyDeleteYou did the stenciling of those milk bottles??!?!?!! What a great job! I love it! I am really impressed! It looks so good, especially in red! The lettering really stands out against the pure white milk! I can envision how pretty it would be against pink strawberry milk, too! This is such a sweet set up...literally AND figuratively! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! LOOVE that milk bottle!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable!
