This is my Version of Seascape Tablescape. You'll notice that I didn't use silverware in this tablescape, I know I should, I was just to lazy to dig it out, maybe next time.
The large jars are actually sangria jars that are fabulous to fill for parties and were purchased at HomeGoods for under $10.00 each. The aqua glass plates are $3.99 each at Marshall's. The metal baskets that I use for candle holders on top of each plate, are $3.99 each at Marshall's as well.
I'm always on the lookout for unusual, creative and inexpensive pieces to top my place settings......I love model homes and they always have the most creative tablescapes....
This is a fun way to put place cards, bottles are from cost plus....
This is one of my faux cocktails, it is made of resin and you can just put the whole thing in the dish water to wash, so cool, great
Love the aqua beachy feel...
I sure love this Tablescape. This setting definately looks very vogue. I can't wait to get started on my own.

ReplyDeleteA great table. Love the faux drink idea. Your table is so cool and refreshing!
ReplyDeleteLove it , love it. Great seascape and that Hawaiin drink was the crowning touch. Love that you used the net, gotta remember that one!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty love the aqua color. Those drinks certainly look real! Enjoyed this.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful! I enlarged the pictures and you have great details. I love the net in the middle! Can't believe those drinks!
ReplyDeleteSuch cool calming colours with the touches of black make this a very striking tablescape! Those little black baskets are a great addition. The aqua plates are terrific. I thought your faux drinks were real at first - nice idea to use faux foods if you are leaving your 'scape up for a while as decoration! It was great to see another seaside 'scape as summer passes to fall this coming week!

Phyllis, You are off to a great start. I'll be back to see more. Happy blogging!
ReplyDeleteI love the color combinations and that you are into faux drinks. I make tea candles from gel that look and smell just like the real thing...so you have my attention on this one.

Hi Phyllis...me again. Just looked at the post below and I am in love with your place cards! What a wonderful idea placing them in a bottle...clever! And the faux drinks totally got me...I thought they were real all the way! Love 'em! Only problem is they make you actually want a drink...especially the blue one. :-) Susan
