If you look carefully you can see Tina in the front window, trying to figure out whats going on.. As a black cat shes all excitted because halloween is her favorite time of year....
The flowers are from Home Depot and Target...on sale of course...
She just has to see the whole process...The pumpkins are from Trader Joe's, I painted them white and then some black over the top...just adds a little pop, what do you think????
I like the little black pumpkin. After I painted it black and I used the end of a pencil eraser and dotted it in the white paint and just touched it, seems to have worked perfect....
I think it almost looks like a cannon ball.....

I love the way the black and white contrasts with the wonderful oranges and golds...
I traced around a leaf and painted it black, and when it was dry, I scraped a little of the paint off..

Not sure if you are familiar with Mackenzie-Childs, but I was in their store the other day and they painted their pumpkins in what they call their"courtly checks"...yours look just as adorable as theirs did...Your porch looks so festive and fun...thanks for sharing it

ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention palms. I just lugged ours in as we were expecting the temps to fall to around 20 degrees. Well they didn't fall to 20 degrees, they fell to 16 degrees. Winter is showing up early this year!
