wow ..had to stop and get a look at the beautiful dishes, pretty and springy...
Just look at these colors....yummy huh
What a beautiful platter, ...
Don't you just love the pretty strawberry dishes, how fun to have those around the kitchen for the summer...
These strawberry baskets with the big red bows are too cute, wouldn't they be perfect for a tablescape and one on each place setting full of big fat strawberries.....
Oh what a pretty color of coral, I love the soft spring look....I think this is the one...
The Master bedroom is a pale beige color and there is a few aqua things there which will go nicely with this pretty coral...we won't be buying all the pillows, just the three large and the one coral one in the center......Look at the sweet little rabbits out for the season, love them mixed with the pigs...
Ohh there is that rooster again, looks like some salt and pepper little ones, these pictures are with my phone, I have to tell you in person they are spectacular..
These Lenox cups and plates are so clean and pretty, love the color, such a different green....I can see it on the patio table with a beautiful green salad with fresh strawberries and sliced almonds on top....is it lunch time? Maybe for breakfast with a warm chocolate chip croissant and a hot cup of coffee....yummy
Is this throw the perfect color to go with the bedroom set...I think so..it will be a nice addition thrown over the back of the chair...
Ohhhh look at the cute little Easter things that are out now....love this sweet little tray with the eggs and basket....soooo cute...
This is a delightful design in pink yellow and blue, below a couple of pictures see how they have the cups that match the tray and egg holder.....
How about a carrot cup, love the colors on the inside, some of them have bunnys on the outside....
Oh don't you just love the little bunny cups with the pink inside....
Ahhh here are those cups that go with those bunny platters....too sweet..Did you say you needed some pillows, this is just one row, can you believe the colors, this is the orange and earth tone row, I loved the yellow row and the blue and white row was so full of the newest patterns...
Oh no there is Mr. S. giving us a wave...he does like the new pattern and he is so patient....
Hi there sweetie, almost ready, just a few more minutes down a couple more isles....
Oh no, he is beginning to get into the decorations, oh no he is playing with the masks.,,,Love all the pretty blue and nautical accents, they do look wonderful paired with coral, great idea..
Ahhhh a crunchy tempura shrimp California roll, this is gonna make Mr. S. very happy, he has been such a sport, this is just the ticket to put a smile on his face....
Yes this has been the perfect treat...can you tell he is enjoying every bite...
I'm sure he will be able to finish this off in no time at all....shopping can be tiring, don't ya know...Yep, he is a happy guy again...I think he is ready for a nap now...

I enjoyed every minute of your little tour of Home Goods, wish we had one here( Although hubby is glad we don't :) You have such a fun hubby.
ReplyDeleteMy, the items they have is amazing. I could certainly go crazy in there. Love the choice of bed linen for your new look too.
Wow, your home goods has tons of stuff and things that match. The home goods by me is not that great.
ReplyDeleteMr. S really was a sport. I may have to show my husband this post so that he can see that what a sport MR. S is letting you take his picture and then posting it on your blog.
Love all the strawberries stuff and the bunnies are just prefect for Easter. Love the cups in the pastel colors.
The throw and comforter set you chose is gorgeous. can't wait to see a post on how it looks on the bed.
Ana
Too fun! What an expedition with Mr. S.! Your new bedding will look amazing in your room....love coral, so fresh. Looking forward to seeing it in your room. Jane
ReplyDeleteYou must have will power to focus just on bedding! Those dishes are just so beautiful and colorful, I would have caved:-D The new bedding looks like you're ready for Spring--happy, sunny day to you dear friend, XOXO
ReplyDeleteOh Phyllis, I want it all, please! ;) HomeGoods has the cutest seasonal goodies...love that store! :) Thanks for taking us shopping!
ReplyDeleteYour Home Goods is fabulous. I loved seeing all the Easter things. Looks like you and the hubby had a great day. Have a wonderful start to the new week.
ReplyDeleteKris
All these fabulous photos makes me want to take a trip to our HomeGoods!! I'm already their way to often lol!!
ReplyDeleteOh Phyllis, your shopping trip to HomeGoods was so full of spring colours, patterns and cheeriness!! It really made me homesick for the HomeGoods in Canada, called HomeSense. Same company, don't know why they had to change the name. Anyway, love your new comforter and matching pillows and that cuddly, coral throw is perfect with it! It must be very tempting every time you visit this store. Can't wait to see your bedroom styled with your new purchase!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!
Poppy
Hi Phyllis! Oh, what a great shopping trip. I love the comforter you've picked and glad your hubby likes it too. Now, lets see...you know I was all over those Roosters and was just sure you'd buy that great ole big one! ;) The dishes are always so pretty and love all of the little bunny things. I have to drive about 40 miles to get to the nearest Home Goods and I think it's about time I took a little trip! ;)
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing well and you're always a sweetie,
Shelia :)
I think it's about 7 minutes from my house, not sure if that's a good thing or not....love their things that keep changing daily...I take pictures of all the new pretties...if I bought everything I liked I would have to move into the garage....lol..my friend Mary collects Roosters...I think she did a post on all the pretty roosters....
DeleteMr. S is such a good sport! And a great shopping buddy. To get to Home Goods, I have to travel 1 hour and 45 minutes to my daughter's house. Then we load in her van and travel another hour and 15 minutes to get to the store. It is always a big day - Home Goods, then lunch, then IKEA. We can only go once or twice a year. That is probably a good thing! Otherwise I could never afford it; everything is so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh Phy - what a great shopping trip to Home Goods. Michael is such a good sport. I love your new bedroom bedding. Let me know when you get it all together and I'll come over to see it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the roosters, not that I need another one LOL. The bunnies and piggy were so darn cute. I hear Home Goods calling my name .....
You meal looked terrific - I will have to try that restaurant - I go by it but never have stopped in. Food looks really good.
Will talk to you soon.
Mar
Thanks Mar, come over any time...seems I am always home doin something...
Besos guapa :))
Phyllis, Mr. S. is definitely a good sport! The shopping trip with him was fun, fun, fun! I love Home Goods, but most of the time, I am happy not to have one close to me! I get my "fix" in Destin and I am usually overwhelmed and have a difficult time deciding what to buy - I want everything!! Thanks for allowing me to browse without the temptation of buying - lol!!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea where your Home Goods is located, but it must be a really wonderful one. There are four Home Goods stores within easy traveling distance, and I have been to all four in the past three days. None of them have the strawberry items or the Easter items. In fact, I would say that the dish department in each one is pretty depleted right now. For my budget that was a good thing, but after seeing your photographs I was very wishful. Thank you for sharing them with us. MM
ReplyDeleteI go to the new one in Brea and the turn over of things is so quick, it amazes me...I would love to have 4 to choose from...so sorry they are not up to par...
ReplyDeleteI am so looking forward to spring. I was in one of the homegoods stores last week, but not near the selection you are showing. I am looking forward to some changes and that coral is definitely a great choice!
ReplyDeleteWas thinking of driving way down to Indy to HG. Thanks for saving me a trip !!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a dang good thing there's no Home Goods near the Quingdom! *L*
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for taking me to HG Phyllis, I have been longing to go! I have to keep my arms firmly planted on the steering wheel every time I get close so I don't turn in! I did buy 2 of those crunch carrot mugs last year,...so I might just stop by and take a look see...being that I've already started the collection and all...it's probably mandatory that I go at least look...I think it's great your hubs would go, mine wouldn't last a moment!
ReplyDeleteJenna
I am thinking if you had two more carrot cups there you go it would be a set...lol
DeleteSo here I was, sitting in my house, being a good girl, not going shopping...and THEN!!! You have handed me the apple as you shopped in the Garden of Shopping Eden, my sweet!!! I will have to blame you for any and everything I now buy from Home Goods this season!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteCoral is such a pretty color, and I think you'll really enjoy it in your bedroom. It's not too bright, but not at all staid, stuffy or bland. It's going to be a blast. I look forward to seeing the pics!
Kudos to your husband for his patience and playfulness throughout the shopping trip. Now he knows - if he didn't already - that there's no such thing as just "dashing in" to Home Goods to "grab just one thing." It's always a big adventure!
What a great post.....I'd leave you a very long, enduring comment telling you how great everything looks, but I need to put my bra on and run out to HomeGoods now....LOLOL
ReplyDeleteI think I have to have that little piggy...:-)
I found your weblog reality on google. Im extraordinarily impressed together with your writing skills so you have it together.
