PRETTY IN PINK TABLESCAPE

Sometimes its nice to just have a quiet summer lunch indoors, not a lot of plate stacking or dish shuffling...simple simple is the word of the day....

I love these pretty little pink bubble goblets...1.99 each then half off at the GW...what a bargain...their soft pink color just says summer ...These cute little napkin rings are a heavy wrought iron I think, they have a small basket you will see on the table...they were a gift from my daughter Michelle...Love the way they sit on the table...

There were no new purchases in the making of this  pretty pink table scape...

I think the pink napkins are from Home Goods....

After doing this little lunch table I realized I wish I had more Pink dinnerware, it always looks so soft and you could even use it at Easter...Am I trying to justify pink dishes....

These dishes are from Marshals, I loved the little bird and the pretty apple green around the edges of the plate and the cup handle...They had many other items that matched this set, like soup bowls, serving dishes and salad plates....I decided when I use them I would pair them with other pieces, so in this case simple was better and less was more....The dishes are Global Design Connections Kate Williams...You could probably find them on the internet...

Isn't that birdie a cutie....

I think it is a chickadee...

You can see the little chickadee on the cups as well, ...

The twig flatware is from West Elm, and it is so perfect for summer and spring....

You can see the little branch feet on the napkin ring, so unusual and kind of coordinates with the twig flatware....

You can see the sweet little basket that matches the bird napkin rings...so cute...The strawberry cake is faux and is in a pie/cake container that always sits on the table...sometimes the cake changes to cupcakes and occasionally something really good to eat, for real...lol

The pretty pink depression glass biscuit jar was my sister Bobbys and I will use it today to put some cookies in...so sweet....

Those sugar cookies are almost done....yummmm
I will be serving gazpacho soup in the cup, simple sandwiches with some raspberry ice tea and sugar cookies for dessert...yummy...
Lunch is ready and it's time to serve up....
Thank you for stopping by for a visit, I love it when you take the time to leave a comment because I can then find you and come for a visit...

  2. Phyllis - this is just lovely. I have glass envy over your pink pieces! In recent years, I have just developed a "thing" about pink glassware. I want to buy every piece I see and pink really do not fit into my decorating scheme - yikes! Anyway, your glasses and biscuit jar are lovely, as is the rest of the table. The bird plates are wonderful and I really like the shade of green around the edge of them. Also, I love that twig flatware!!
