I haven't been bargain hunting for awhile ....so today when I had some free time I thought I would check out the GW by the college...I was not even in the mood for a great find and was sure it was going to be one of those browsing, gazing, then leaving kind of days...I'm sure you all know those kind of trips....
Sooo you can imagine how surprised I was to see these beautiful Lenox glasses...spring has truly arrived....
They are hand painted with butterflies....leaves, flowers......
Oh and lady bugs and a dragonfly....
They are a nice large size...and the lady bug on the bottom...soooo cute
They will be wonderful with some tasty refreshing white sangria ( I found at Cost Plus) with a couple of slices of apple in it will be so colorful and taste great...yummmm you will love it...Even lemonade would look great in these beauties..
Yes thats Mr rabbit watching over those sparkly glasses...
Yellow butterflies..
It kind of looks like a flower garden....
This is the price tag...2.99 each for seven glasses...I only needed 6...just in case one breaks I'll have a backup....I am sure originally there were 8...
Perfect for a garden luncheon...can you see it now....
I couldn't wait to get them home and in a hot sudsy bath...I usually add a couple of tablespoons of bleach to the really hot soapy water...I always feel it gets them squeaky clean...They have to be washed by hand as not to damage the painting....
It really makes them sparkle and shine...
Thank you for visiting around the house...leave a comment...love to hear from you...

What a great find, Phyllis! That will make a beautiful Spring table setting. I'm like you ~ I either wash with bleach or wipe things down with the Chlorox wipes. I can't wait to see you do a tablescape with them!
