I am continuing my quest to actually complete my Easter table scapes and use all of my Easter decor in some fashion...This is my 3rd scape and I have more to come...This one is a sweet cupcake setting....
I love this little cupcake Easter lunch...and to think it was all inspired by these tiny cupcake forks...four of them and they are so sweet...I found them at TJ Maxx a few months ago...
Well the little forks and the chickie cupcake cups....Isn't this a sweet one with the three little strawberries on top...
The centerpiece is the flowers from Michaels with a wreath thrown over the top...actually that is exactly what I did...I just needed a little yellow in with the pink and blue....
The pale yellow plates and glasses are depression glass...a gift from my friend Mary...
The acyclic flatware is from Ross and the braided place mate are from a local gift shop..Don't they look like small rugs.....I like the way the placemats show through...
This is the second fork...love the sweet little green plate and the pile of whip cream...
Mr. Rabbit is watching over this whole table...
.Do you always bring out all your decorations for each Holiday or do you pick and choose...I usually pick and choose, except this year...everybody get to come out for awhile...
This chickie looks like he is singin a song.......to all the bloggers
Don't ask me why but this rabbit riding a chick is one of my favorites...who knows why...do rabbits ride chicks??..nooooo
and he is carrying a chicken head on a stick...what does that even mean...who knows..I like it anyway...love those berries
Looks like the chickie is in the chicken coop....
Ohh this cupcake has a whole strawberry and a swirley red and white cupcake holder...
These little cupcake holders can be filled with candies or nuts or mints...their fun and came from a wholesale company in another town...
The Orange ade is perfect for this warm day...I just know there is more rain coming before a beautiful summer...
This is the little sweet blueberry cupcake....
Well Mr. Rabbit is riding off into the sunset.....bye bye
Thank you for joining me on this quest to give all the Easter decorations a chance in the sunshine...please leave a message..I love hearing from you and I read them all...love it when you spend time around the house...
This is one of the sweetest Easter tables I've ever seen! I love the chick riding the bunny carrying the chicken on a stick...too cute & funny! Every little detail of this tablescape is just lovely. I love it!
ReplyDeleteYou are always so sweet...thank you
DeleteThis is adorable! You have done a wonderful job. I love the acrylic flatware. I have looked at some several times at both Tuesday Morning and Ross, I think. I did not realize that only the handles were acrylic and thought the whole utensil was so I never bought them. Your pictures have shown me how much MORE I like them now. Thank you! I also love, love, love those wonderful placemats and the mix of colors you used in this setting. It's so very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute table. Love the cupcake theme and the rabbit riding the chick...hysterical! Whimsy is always perfect for Easter! I pick and choose my decorations and this year brought out just some of the rabbits. They all got out last year though! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute tablescape. Those are great little forks.
ReplyDeleteI usually bring out everything, for Easter. I have mostly bunnies. But, these chicks are really cute.
Hi Phyllis! Oh, you've done it again - cuteness overload! I love it! Look at all your little pretties. The little cupcake flatware is so sweet and so is your bunny riding the chick! I wonder if the chick head on a stick bothers the rider chick? :)

ReplyDeleteHi Phyllis, Mr. S & Tina...
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping over at my blog and leaving your comments. I'm glad you chose to follow me, too!
I have spent the last 45 minutes here & on Tina's blog, just looking around. What gorgeous blogs!! I love all of your table-settings. I especially love the easter ones with the bunnies!!
It sounds like you have plenty to do with all the things listed in your profile!
Since I am an Interior Designer with over 30 years of expertise...this whole-house make-over, is my "baby". Hubby doesn't like to make decisions about that kind of stuff and he doesn't paint (or rather, I won't let him)! So, everything is up to me - including squeezing every last dime of the $$$ needed out of our retirement and social security. This project has been in the making for a while and will be for a while longer! I'm in the process of making a TO DO list to put up on my side-bar of my blog!!

ps...I'm your newest Follower!
I am so envious cause I would love to take a wall down in my house but I don't think it's gonna be possible...bummer...

ReplyDeleteHi Phyllis
ReplyDeleteYour tablescape is absolutely adorable. I love your placemats too and the little cupcakes are sooooo darling! You have chosen just the best of Easter for your table. The larger rabbit truly is looking over the prettyness you've set up. The little chick and bunny are sweet too and you had such a nice little ridealong story for them. So nice.
Well I don't have a lot of Easter decorations so I certainly take them all out.
Thank you for sharing and do come back and visit again! I am going to follow you...
