OH CHRISTMAS TREE
Red White and Blue...Just seems to go with everything...
This year I thought the tree should blend with my livingroom as it is going through it's transition...
The white lanterns are from Target...2.50 each, then I sprayed them white...
I have a new camera...can you tell...I am taking a picture through the glass decanter on the coffee table...
This is the perfect place to sit by the fire with a warm blanket...
Love the starfish...I think I am in Nantucket, Ca....lol
Now I just have to work on some presents for under the tree...that will take a little time...lol
It's so cold outside, the tree lights sure do warm it up in here...
More lights...I think this is the last year for this tree...I am just dying for a tall skinny flocked artificial tree....
This next picture I took from the outside in for a little contrast...
I really love this new camera...such fun taking pictures...
Sparkly Sparkley
The last two pictures are purely playing with the camera....hope they are fun for you too...
Wow ...this all happens in the camera with no touch ups after ...love it....
Color Sketch...such fun...Thank you so much for visiting today...I always love it when you spend some time around the house...Please leave a comment and let me know what you think...Just click on the word comment...I appreciate you all and if you are not yet a follower...please follow me...you won,t be bored...Phyllis

Wow Phyllis, this is just stunning. I wanted to visit and say thanks for your comment and your tip about photography on my blog. Thanks for staying with me too as I'm not much of a regular poster. I'd like to do more and have lots of ideas and projects, but my kids are still young and active so I can't devote as much time as I'd like to blogging. One of these sad days, I'll have more than enough time. Anyway, thanks for your friendship and your counsel. I'm glad I hopped over to your blog. Your Christmas decorations are beautiful. What a creative job on the birdie bowl. And I think your tree is gorgeous. I know what you mean about getting something in your head though and just not being satisfied until it's done so if you replace with a flocked tree, I'll be eager to see it too. Merry Christmas, my friend. Enjoy your wonderful work as you go through the season.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree, indeed! I love the blue accents in there, too. Great new camera!

Your tree looks wonderful, Phyllis! How sparkly! I also noticed your old world Santa on the table just to the side of it. His blue coat goes so well with your tree colors. I remember when I got my new camera ~ so much better for me than the point and shoot I had. I still love it!
