You remember a few posts back when I was sick I posted hot chocolate and faux cookies with the red cups and it was on a tray for the spare room...Those were from Christmas time 2008.....
Well this year it's time for hot chocolate and cookies by the fire...I know what you all are saying, look at those wonderful faux cookies......well your wrong, these wonderful cookies are from our favorite bakery in Brea, Beverly's Best ....aren't they just the most stunning things, and let me tell you we ate them 5 minutes after I photographed the tray....You know Mr. S. he does love those sugar cookies.....
You saw this chocolate pot on the table with the Christmas setting....it is from Pottery Barn..The silver cups are from Crate and Barrel from the after Christmas sale for 2.50 each, I also purchased some metalic red ones, the two colors look wonderful in the cupboard and they are great for christmas...
You remember the ceramic spoons, they were in the glass jar on the table, love how they coordinate with the chocolate pot...
I think the little plates are the size of the cookies....
I love all the sparkly reflections from the pretty little cups....
Well Mr. S. is really eyeing those cookies, I will have to hold him back....
Well the chocolate is hot and the whipped cream is whipped the fire is on and there is no holding Mr. S. back at this point, he is all about those cookies...
The white peppermint candy canes will be perfect with the hot chocolate...
Thank you for visiting the trayscape today....Hope you had an enjoyable visit and if you would like to leave a comment and let me know what you think, just click the word comment and you can leave your message.....Thanks to susan @betweennapsontheporch for hosting today.....Come back and visit on Monday and I will have my Christmas Tree post for you....Phyllis
That tray would be perfect on my island. It would fit perfectly with my kitchen blue and white theme. Love those cookies. I think I would tell everyone they were faux,(they expect that around here)so they could be part of the deco. Your Chocolate pot looks as good with the silver and blue as it did with the red and white theme. Enjoy your time in front of the fire.

I just made some star shaped cookies that I decorated exactly like this but I am pretty much a fail at the icing part. They look like a kindergarten kid made them but I don't care. They taste good.
