A GINGERBREAD MAN DAY
I only have two of these too cute napkin rings...aren't they the sweetest things ever...perfect for our hot chocolate gingerbread day...
Look at that face....
The gingerbread bowl is from GW and was 4.00...I think I will use it for some Christmas cactus later this month....
I love trying to take some creative shots of these settings...I think thats part of the fun, don't you...I am always looking for the light as I NEVER use the flash...I learned from Susan, @between naps on the porch, it does suck the life out of the picture....
The cute pot and bird cups I believe are from Marshals...great for coffee tea and of course our favorite hot chocolate...
Wish I could take credit for the gingerbread men but no, they were a bakery purchase...I will be making my own in a couple of days from Yvonne's sight stonegable...Her recipe looks like I will love it...very hot and spicy...yummmm
I can take credit for the wrapping of gingerbread men...that was all me...lol
Ah he's the sweetest face...
I am ready to cozy up with this....
A boy and a girl...notice the bow...
I hope you save some time for gingerbread and hot chocolate....
Ah...they were made for each other...Thanks for stopping by for a visit...please leave a comment by clicking the comment word...I love to hear from you...I appreciate your visits so much...Phyllis

ReplyDeleteIn the part of the UK I live in, we have this gingerbread called parkin. It's a soft sticky ginger loaf; gorgeous with custard and a cup of tea. I might have to make some after seeing this post!
