A TREE FOR THE KITCHEN

Santa can never get enough frosting, what a sweet guy...

Kitchen counter Santa is all about cookies, candy and gingerbread men... The gingerbread men in the sack Santa is carrying is a gift from my friend Janay...

I think Santa and the tree add a little glow to the kitchen corner...

I made many of the decorations, the chocolate cake ornaments and the strawberry cake decorations..They are made from the bakeable clay you buy in colors, just roll shape and cut in layers like cake and bake for 20 min. You have to push wire or cording inside before baking. I made them many years ago..

More close up pictures of this little tree...

Santa is from Kohls and was on sale 40% off, such a good deal that adds to the sweets tree...

Thanks for visiting, I will be back again next week with more decorations...Phyllis

  25. I know I came abnd saw this table but didn't leave a comment??? I have no idea what happened so want to tell you how MUCH I love the tree and Santa! I collect Santas and have always wanted one for the kitchen but do my kitchen with Snowmen. I also don't have room for a tree but have looked for cookie, and baking type ornaments anyway. MAKING them is genius! Thanks for the tip! Merry Christmas, Phyllis! Pinky

  26. Love your kitchen tree. I just bought one for my kitchen and have gingerbreadmen ornaments on it. The tree is from Kohls but I didn't see that Santa. I will have to go back and look for him. Have a great weekend!

  27. I LOVE your home and your holiday decor, especially the kitchen ... so fun and whimsical, and I love the crisp inviting feel of your red and white decorations! I'm new to the world of blogging and if you have a chance, I'd love for you to stop by and see my holiday home tour ... our kitchen whimsical trees are very similar, and I have a baking Santa almost identical to the one you have standing guard by your candy tree! Take care, Becca (http://adventuresindecorating1.blogpost.com)

  33. Love the Santa. I think it's his glasses that sets him apart from so many other Santas. But what I really like is the tree. I love how fully you've decorated it! It looks terrific.
