AUTUMN IS HERE...

Autumn is here with a rush of colors that can't be ignored.
Every store is full of orange and gold and rust.....NOTICE I SAID STORES, NOT OUTSIDE, not in Ca.
Welcome and please enjoy...my new SEASONAL COLORS.....

After shopping at Michaels for an hour, I finally came up with some beautiful fall colors. These sunflowers that coordinate with some of the things I already have...
Now it was time to make a wreath..Sorry I should have taken pictures during process, next time...

I really love the feathers, don't they just add that little bit of a fox hunt feel....

WOW ! ! ! I admit I am getting used to the colors....

well I told you it was going to be hard for me to get into the whole fall frame of mind.

After all we are in sunny Southern Ca. and it was 95 degrees here today...... it is hard to think about anything except how to stay cool.....

I knew I just needed a little more inspiration. Thanks to all of you for sharing all the creativity.....

You cannot stay in the summer mode after viewing the beautiful Autumn colors of these sunflowers...

I hope something here inspires you to get your Autumn colors out of storage and start creating...
Wreath making is such a fun project for fall....

I am preparing for Tablescape Thursday with Susan @Betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com
Thank you for visiting Around the House Please leave a comment, I read them all and I so appreciate each and every one...

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I do love the colors of Fall (at least the stores can supply you with Fall color -- if mother nature doesn't!) We do get pretty Fall color in Virginia -- especially in the mountains.

  6. Hi Pyllis: Beautiful post. I love all the fall coler too. I live in central California where it is still 103 here, so I'm not seeing a lot of fall color either (except in the stores). Your wreath turned out really pretty. Looking forward to what you come up with next.

  8. Hi Phyllis, it is lovely to meet you and thanks for coming to Bella Vista.

I know what you mean about the weather...I live in Florida and it is still quite warm but truthfully, I don't let it bother me. I just go on and decorate for Fall anyway. Autumn is my very favorite season! Your wreath is simply lovely.

Please come back and visit me often.

  10. Thank you for stopping by. As a Northern Calif. girl, honey let me tell you, it has been HOT up here. I have not been able to get into the mood to decorate for fall. I love your color choices. Those are the colors that I have always favored.
    Take care, Sue

  12. Outstanding Table setting for Thanksgiving. It remeinded me that I need to get out my individual Pumpkin Soups and my Pumpkin Soup Tureen and put it to good use. You have a lovely blog and I will visit often. Thank you for visiting my blog.
